Hnýtum saman í vetur!: NymphManiac Purple PT
(English below)
Veturinn er góður tími til að setjast við væsinn og fylla á fluguboxin fyrir næsta tímabil. Við byrjum á NymphManiac Purple PT — Pheasant Tail-nymfu með Very Berry-kúlu, perlulituðu baki og fjólubláum kraga.
Í myndbandinu hér að neðan getur þú fylgst með hnýtingunni frá upphafi til enda.
Uppskrift
- Krókur: Firehole 551, 520 eða 516 , stærðir #12–18
- Kúla: Firehole Slotted Tungsten – Very Berry, 2,5–4,0 mm
- Þráður: 12/0 þráður, rauður eða appelsínugulur
- Stél og búkur: Pheasant Tail
- Bak: Hends Flat Tinsel LPK05 Pearl, lagt ofan á búkinn
- Vafningur: Hends-vír
- Kragi: Hends Spectra Dubbing SA07 Violet
- Frágangur: Hends glært flugulakk
Pheasant Tail myndar bæði stél og búk. Tinselið er lagt eftir bakinu og fest niður með vírvafningnum. Fjólublái kraginn og Very Berry-kúlan gefa síðan flugunni einkennandi lit.
Aðlagaðu kúlustærðina að króknum og þeirri þyngd sem þú vilt ná. Það getur verið gott að eiga sömu fluguna í nokkrum þyngdum til að mæta mismunandi dýpi og straumi.
Króka, kúlur og hnýtingarefni finnur þú hjá Nymphing Iceland.

Tying Together This Winter: NymphManiac Purple PT
Winter is a great time to sit down at the vise and fill your fly boxes for the coming season. This time, we are tying the NymphManiac Purple PT — a Pheasant Tail nymph with a Very Berry tungsten bead, a pearl-colored back, and a purple collar.
In the video below, you can follow the tying process from start to finish.
Recipe
- Hook: Firehole 551, 520 eða 516 , sizes #12–18
- Bead: Firehole Slotted Tungsten – Very Berry, 2.5–4.0 mm
- Thread: 12/0 Thread, red or orange
- Tail and body: Pheasant Tail
- Back: Hends Flat Tinsel LPK05 Pearl, placed over the body
- Ribbing: Hends-Wire
- Collar: Hends Spectra Dubbing SA07 Violet
- Finish: Hends Clear Varnish
The Pheasant Tail forms both the tail and the body. The tinsel is placed along the back and secured with the wire ribbing. The purple collar and Very Berry bead give the fly its distinctive color.
Adjust the bead size to match the hook and the amount of weight you want to add. It can be useful to carry the same fly in several different weights to cover varying depths and current conditions.
You can find hooks, beads, and tying materials at Nymphing Iceland.
